Schneck Medical Center provides screening mammograms to identify breast cancer at an early stage. Early detection through screening mammography will reduce the impact of the disease. Through their “Early Detection Saves Lives” grant program, Schneck Medical Center will provide these services for the target group of women who are without financial resources. Women without medical insurance, or other financial resources, and those who do not qualify for government assistance will be the recipients of the funds made available through the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust. Recipients will be identified through self, physician and Community Health Clinic referrals.
