A 501(C) 3 not for profit, the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust, Inc. (IBCAT) increases awareness and improves access to breast cancer screening and diagnosis throughout Indiana through the sale of Breast Cancer Awareness specialty license plate. Available through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, each license plate sold generates a $25 donation.

Among the most widely purchased specialty plates on Indiana’s roads, the Breast Cancer Awareness license plate is ranked #6 of more than 80 specialty plates sold. Since the plate was introduced in 2002 by founder Nancy Jaynes, approximately 8,500 Hoosier women have received screening or diagnostic mammograms and over $1.1 million has been awarded through our bi-annual grant program.
